AboutMe

Hi, I’m Brandi McMichael — a creative daughter of God, a storyteller, a dreamer, and a woman on a mission to spread hope wherever I go.

I was adopted as a toddler, chosen into a family that became the beginning of my redemption story. Throughout my life, God has woven creativity, imagination, and compassion into every chapter — long before I understood the purpose behind it all.

My creative journey formally began in 1999, when I was a wide-eyed 23-year-old handbag designer with a big dream and an even bigger love for creativity. What started at my kitchen table grew into trunk shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and my designs eventually found homes in boutiques from New York City to Chicago, Paris, and London.

I went on to found Fashion Denver, a community platform built to support and celebrate local designers — and what a beautiful ride it has been.

And for the past two years, I’ve had the joy of producing and hosting CreativeMornings / Denver, gathering thousands of creatives and community members around inspiration, storytelling, and connection.

But what I didn’t know then — through the runways, the workshops, the trunk shows, the late nights, and the big dreams — was that God was walking with me through it all.
Even in the seasons when I strayed far from Him, His love never left.

Now, 25 years later, I see it so clearly:
every stitch, every runway, every conversation, every connection — it was all leading me back to Him.

Kingdom Work is the full-circle return to my first love: Jesus.
It is the merging of my lifelong passion for fashion with my deep love for studying the Bible — watching the grand love story unfold from Genesis to Revelation.

These designs, stories, and creations are rooted in scripture and crafted to reflect His truth, His beauty, and His redemption.

This is where creativity meets calling.
This is fashion for His glory.
This is Kingdom Work — a creative, faith-filled space where hope becomes the mission and creativity becomes the vessel.

Welcome to this little corner of my heart.
