My heart has been stirring.

Tonight, with a little unexpected alone time in the cabin, I finally realized why.

My heart has been longing to create.

Not because I need another project.

Not because I need to be productive.

Because God wired me to create.

I’m turning 51… and this year, I want to celebrate a little differently.

Birthdays mean a lot to me. My story began with being abandoned, orphaned, fostered, and then adopted—and because of that, I hold a deep love for celebrating life. Every life. Every story.

So this year, I don’t just want to celebrate mine… I want to share it 💜

Creativity detached from truth can become distortion, self-worship, chaos, numbness, seduction, or confusion.

There are moments in life when you feel the quiet whisper of God…
and then there are moments when He answers in a way that feels undeniable.

Easter in Denver was one of those moments.

For a long time, my prayer has been simple but bold:
“God, use me in mighty ways with the gifts You’ve given me.”

I stepped away from social media for a couple of weeks, and I have to tell you… the quiet has been incredible.

Less noise.

More clarity.

More time with God.
