Social media break

Finding God in the Quiet

For the past couple of weeks, I stepped away from social media.

No scrolling.
No constant updates.
No noise competing for my attention.

And I have to tell you… the quiet has been incredible.

Without the steady stream of notifications and opinions, something beautiful started to happen. My mind felt clearer. My heart felt calmer. And I found myself spending more time with God in ways that felt deeper and more present.

It’s amazing how much space opens up when we step away from the constant scroll.

In that quiet, I noticed things I might have missed before. Moments of stillness. Small joys. Time to reflect, pray, and simply be.

I’ve loved the quiet so much that I’ll probably be popping in only occasionally for a while. Social media can be a wonderful way to connect, but sometimes the best thing we can do for our hearts is to step back and give ourselves space to breathe.

If your heart has been feeling overwhelmed by the noise of the world, consider this a gentle encouragement to step away for a little while. Even a short break can create room for clarity, peace, and perspective.

There are really beautiful things waiting for you in the quiet.

Scripture reminds us:

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10

The world can be loud.
But God often whispers.

And sometimes we hear Him most clearly when we slow down enough to listen.
